Holocaust Education and Remembrance
ADL's Braun Holocaust Institute
The Braun Holocaust Institute's programs for educators, students, community leaders, and families explore the enduring impact of the Holocaust and apply its lessons to contemporary issues of prejudice and moral decision making. Through these efforts, the Institute hopes to ensure that the Holocaust - and the brutality that humankind inflicted upon itself - is never forgotten.
NEW Echoes and Reflections- a multimedia curriculum on the Holocaust created for high schools.
Rich with visual history testimony integrated into 10 multi-part lessons, this educational resource offers curriculum connections to issues of diversity, prejudice, bigotry, and modern-day genocide.
While empathy-building activities in the classroom are a popular technique for engaging young people in the history of the Holocaust, the Anti-Defamation League strongly cautions against using simulation activities.
