ADL's Miller Early Childhood Initiative

Early Messages Can Last a Lifetime

Learn strategies to prevent the development of prejudice from taking root in young children by participating in Miller Early Childhood Initiative Trainings (PDF) and using the resource books, created by ADL in partnership with Sesame Workshop. 

Filled with anti-bias tips and activities that easily integrate into daily routines, an evaluation by Barry School of Social Work (PDF) indicated that these below resources, along with training, successfully raised children's levels of respect and reduce their levels of bias.

  • This 64 page color resource book for early childhood educators is filled with activities and guidance on preventing prejudice among preschoolers.
