Statement of Purpose

The ADL Entertainment Leadership Council (ELC) is a group of top executives, creatives and decision-makers spanning film, television, music and media who have come together to meet the challenge of rising antisemitism, hate and violence in society.

The goal of the ELC is to harness the power of Hollywood to help advance ADL’s mission “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”

These leaders in the entertainment industry have risen to the call in this new effort to fight hate for good. With the disturbing rise of antisemitism and hate around the world, the time is now for leaders in the entertainment industry to come together in a formal effort to fight hate for good.
