Since January, 167 bomb threats have targeted Jewish institutions across the country, including Jewish Community Centers, schools, synagogues and ADL offices in New York, San Francisco, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Boston. To date, one man has been arrested in connection with eight of these threats.

But the numbers, alone, don’t tell the whole story. Each threat sends a message of hate to innocent adults and children, who will surely carry it with them for years to come.
ADL continues to work with law enforcement to identify the sources of these threats and to help affected institutions strengthen their security.
“ADL is not intimidated,” said ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt. “This only hardens our resolve to fight against anti-Semitism.”
