Following shooting attacks at two Jewish institutions in Overland Park, Kansas, on April 13, 2014, that left three people dead, police arrested a suspect in the shootings, Frazier Glenn Miller (often known simply as Glenn Miller).
Miller is a virulent white supremacist whose record of hate activity dates back to the mid-1970s. For a time, in the early to mid-1980s, Miller was one of the most prominent and notorious white supremacists in the United States, leading a major Ku Klux Klan group until his arrest on weapons charges in 1987. After he agreed to testify against other white supremacists, as part of a plea deal, most of the white supremacist movement looked upon Miller as a traitor and he never succeeded in regaining his former stature.
After lying low through the 1990s, Miller re-emerged in 1999 in an attempt to reestablish himself as a white supremacist leader and became one of Missouri’s more active white supremacists in the 2000s, though he never succeeded in regaining his support within the white supremacist movement.
Through all these years, Miller established a record of intense anti-Semitism and racism, as well as admiration for those who committed violent attacks against Jews or others. Miller’s own words condemn him for what he is: a hater of the first magnitude.

According to Miller, Von Brunn spent time at Miller’s home in 2004. In a letter to Von Brunn that Miller claimed he wrote after the attack, Miller allegedly offered “my deepest admiration and appreciation for all your sacrifices and for all your labors, unselfishly devoted these past many decades, for the rights, freedom, and the continuance of our people.”
