ADL and Moishe House Announce Partnership to Deliver ‘Words to Action®’ Educational Program to Address Antisemitism in Europe

New York, NY, September 9, 2022 ... ADL (the Anti-Defamation League) today announced a partnership to deliver ADL’s Words to Action® program to Jewish young adults in Moishe Houses in Europe to train them to more deeply understand and effectively respond to antisemitism.

Beginning in the fall of 2022 and extending into 2023, these programs, facilitated by experienced Jewish educators in eleven countries, will effectively help young leaders to address antisemitism and anti-Israel bias, as well as tools to address stereotypes, prejudice, hate speech and bias incidents.

“Bringing ADL’s antisemitism education to Europe’s Moishe House communities fosters the resilience and strengthens the knowledge and confidence of Jewish young adults in multiple communities to respond to the reality of everyday antisemitism,” said Dalia Grinfeld, ADL Associate Director for European Affairs.

"This partnership provides an opportunity to lean on the expertise of the ADL,” said David Cygielman, Moishe House Founder and CEO. “With antisemitism continuing to be a global issue, it is critical that young adult leaders are developing the skills to understand how to address this issue and concern in their Jewish communities.”

The programs will be facilitated in Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
