New York, NY, July 1, 2010 ... The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) today issued a statement in response to reports that Hollywood actor Mel Gibson engaged in a racist rant that included the n-word and other obscenities in an exchange with his ex-girlfriend caught on tape.
Abraham H. Foxman, ADL National Director, said:
Most people who hate one group hate another. Not only has Mel Gibson shown himself to be an anti-Semite, he's a racist.
A bigot is a bigot is a bigot. We have found before that if a person is bigoted against one group, they are usually bigoted against many. Mel Gibson just makes that point. Who knows who else he hates."
