Carmiel Arbit
VP, Government Relations
As Vice President of Government Relations, Carmiel Arbit leads ADL’s federal engagement and volunteer activation strategies. Carmiel joined ADL in 2021 with extensive experience in Washington and overseas, focusing on foreign policy, legislative strategy and community engagement.
She previously worked in Middle East Programs at the Atlantic Council where she helped launch the organization’s normalization work. Prior to that, she was the Director of Strategic Engagement in AIPAC’s office of Policy and Government Affairs in Washington. She has worked as a consultant for non-profit organizations around the world, advancing public diplomacy and government relations efforts.
Carmiel earned her BA from George Washington University and her MS from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.
