Daniel Lubetzky
Daniel Lubetzky is a social entrepreneur known for building businesses and civic movements that empower people to solve problems together across perceived divides.
The son of a Holocaust survivor, Daniel strives to prevent what happened to his father and others from happening again. While best known as the founder of KIND Snacks, Daniel's foray into food was the unexpected outcome of his work to use business to bring neighbors in Middle Eastern conflict regions together. He conceived of civic movements OneVoice and now Starts With Us to give voice and agency to the vast majority of people who favor common sense solution building over extreme partisanship and hateful divisiveness.
Daniel is a member ADL’s Inaugural Board of Directors. He has received The King Center’s Beloved Community Award, the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, Columbia Business School’s Botwinick Prize in Business Ethics, Carnegie Corporation’s Great Immigrants Award, and awards from the World Economic Forum, Skoll Foundation, Conscious Capitalism, Hispanic Heritage Foundation, and Horatio Alger Association. Daniel was named a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship by President Obama and was inducted in 2023 into the Texas Business Hall of Fame.
He is the author of New York Times bestseller Do the KIND Thing and a recurring Shark on the ABC television series, Shark Tank.
