The number 43 is a numeric symbol used by members of the racist skinhead group Supreme White Alliance (SWA). If one substitutes numbers for the letters in SWA's initials (19, 23, 1), then adds those numbers together, the total is 43. Additional Images:

The 5 Words refer to a phrase that some white supremacists advocate should be the only words ever spoken to the police: "I have nothing to say."

The number 511 is a numeric symbol for the Oregon-based racist prison gang European Kindred. Substituting letters for numbers, the 5 and 11 equate to E and K, i.e., European Kindred. Additional Images:

Hate Symbol

The number 737 is a numeric symbol used by Public Enemy Number 1 (PENI), a California-based white supremacist gang present on California's streets and in its prisons. Unlike most white supremacist numeric symbols, 737 is not an example of number-letter substitution. Instead, the numbers 737 correspond to the letters P, D, and S on a telephone keypad. 83 is a white supremacist numeric symbol that stands for "Heil Christ" or "Hail Christ" (the eighth letter of the alphabet is H and the third letter is C, thus 83 is "HC"). It is typically used by adherents of the racist and anti-Semitic religious sect known as Christian Identity. The symbol derives from the older white supremacist numeric symbol 88 ("Heil Hitler"). One of the most popular white supremacist symbols is the numeric symbol 88, which stands for "Heil Hitler" (substituting letters for numbers, 88 means HH, i.e., "Heil Hitler"). It is thus not surprising that white supremacists occasionally attempt to display 88 as a hand sign. ACAB

Hate Symbol

ACAB stands for "All Cops Are Bastards" and is a slogan of long standing in the skinhead subculture. Because non-racist skinheads may use this acronym as well as racist skinheads, it should be carefully judged in the context in which it appears.

Advanced White Society

Group Status: Legacy (the group is no longer active but some symbols may remain as tattoos, graffiti, etc.) The Advanced White Society is a small white supremacist group formed by a defector from the neo-Nazi National Socialist Movement. AKIA

Hate Symbol

AKIA is Ku Klux Klan shorthand for "A Klansman I Am." It is related to another Klan acronym, AYAK ("Are You A Klansman?"). These are among the many acronyms developed by the Second Ku Klux Klan that emerged in 1915. Alabama Aryan Brotherhood

It is an independent gang and has no connection to the "original" Aryan Brotherhood present in the California and federal prison systems. American Identity Movement (AIM)

American Identity Movement is a large white supremacist group formerly known as Identity Evropa. AIM’s logo consists of a blue and red shield with three white stars and the initials A-I-M. The shield is often combined with an American bald eagle.

“Anti-Antifa” images are white supremacist symbols and memes directed against antifa activists. Antifa (short for “anti-fascist”) are left-wing and anarchist activists who focus on directly confronting white supremacists.

Anti-Racist Is a Code for Anti-White

Arrow Cross

The Arrow Cross symbol derives from the Hungarian fascist political party known as the Arrow Cross Party that was active during 1935-45. Since then, various neo-Nazis and white supremacists have used the symbol themselves, either generically or as part of the logo of a specific hate group.

Similarly, other symbols in this database may be significant to people who are not extreme or racist.
